UPDATE: Thursday evening Bruce Power announcement

 

Severe weather continues to impact the Bruce Power site.

All Category A staff scheduled to work should report for duty on open roads if they are able to do so.

Category B staff directly supporting critical path activities or who have been contacted directly by their supervisor should report for duty on open roads if they are able to do so.

All other Category B and all Category C staff scheduled to work this evening are asked not to report to site.

Staff reporting for duty are advised to bring their own food to site, as provisions may be limited.

All employees are to respect road closures. Please check current  conditions using the Bruce County Roads and MTO links.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
