From a cold snap to rain in a matter of days

Weather and road conditions have improved a great deal today across the region.

There is still persistent blowing snow in some parts of Bruce and Grey counties, and along the lakeshore.

There is a small chance of snow squalls developing over the Bruce Peninsula.

Plows and sanders are making regular patrols, and the last of the closed roads should re-open this morning.

And we will go from a big chill to unusually mild weather by the weekend.  Sunday's forecast calls for rain and a high of 5 C.  It could be even milder on Monday.
