Freezing drizzle advisory issued for Saturday night

Portions of midwestern Ontario may see another form of precipitation this weekend.

Environment Canada has issued a freezing drizzle advisory for the following areas:

  • Listowel - Milverton - Northern Perth County
  • Wingham - Blyth - Northern Huron County
  • Bruce Peninsula - Sauble Beach - Tobermory
  • Hanover - Dundalk - Southern Grey County
  • Owen Sound - Blue Mountains - Northern Grey County
  • Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County
The weather agency says patchy freezing drizzle has already formed in some areas or will form throughout Saturday evening into Sunday morning when it will change to drizzle.

Freezing drizzle can create thin, hard-to-see layers of ice on roadways, and surfaces may become wet and slippery.
