Coastal Speaker Series continues this week in Goderich

The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation is hosting its second annual Coastal Speaker Series later this week.

Executive Director Erinn Lawrie said speakers will be talking about subjects ranging from forestry on the West Coast to the impact of soil and agriculture on the lake, and shoreline erosion processes.

There will also be displays from coastal and environmental organizations.

The event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Huron County Museum in Goderich, and admission is free.

Representatives from OMAFRA, the Huron County Forestry Department, Maitland Conservation, and the Lake Huron Coastal Centre will be featured.
