Three charged in daylight break-in south of Mount Forest

Three people are facing charges in connection to a break and enter at a rural home south of Mount Forest.

Wellington County OPP were called to a home yesterday around 3 p.m. Three people reportedly kicked down the back door to a home and were confronted by the 85-year-old victim. They fled the area in a newer model white car south on Highway 6.

Police canvassed the area and found the car at another property where the suspects were apparently trying to conceal themselves behind a barn.

A man and a woman were arrested at the scene. A second man fled on foot but was eventually caught by officers.

Police found a number of items in the car they believe may be stolen.  Anyone who recognizes anything in the photo can call police.

Thirty-eight-year-old Brandon Allan Davie of Owen Sound, 42-year-old Stephen Frederick Finigan of Hagersville and 40-year-old Novlet James Young of Springmount are all facing charges.

Found during a search of a suspect vehicle involved in a daylight break and enter south of Mount Forest.
