Midwestern

Warnings still in place

It's been a windy day throughout Midwestern Ontario and the Winter Storm Warning and Freezing Rain remained in place as of 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Areas through southern Huron and Perth did report some ice pellets through the day but there were no road closures in the region.

Roads described as drifted in sections and slippery but no issues were reported on the main roads and provincial highways.

We can expect the winds to continue to howl through the evening and some more snow will arrive overnight after an evening of freezing rain.

Visibility could be an issue with any amount of blowing snow and roads could become very slippery this evening and overnight.
