OPP respond to local crashes

Some local road closures have occurred as a result of poor driving conditions today.

In Huron County, the OPP have confirmed that Bridge Road at North Line (County Road 12) near Seaforth closed following a collision between 2 pickup trucks at 2:35 this afternoon. An air ambulance transported one male driver to London, and his injuries are non life-threatening. The other male driver and passenger in the other truck were treated and released at the scene. Police say the road will be opened as of 5 pm.

In Grey County, Grey Road 14 is closed between Grey Road 4 and Highway 89 due to weather.

OPP also confirming that Highway 86 from Road 140 and Road 147 will be temporarily closed to remove a large transport truck in the ditch. Heavy tow on the scene. Estimating a 1 hour closure to go until about 5:30 pm.

An earlier collision near Fergus on Highway 6 had closed that highway from Wellington Road 17 to Road 21, but that has been cleared.
