The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received a $5,000 donation from Foxton Fuels.
Owners Mark Foxton and Lisa Hearnden made the donation to fund current medical equipment needs.
The couple has played an active leadership role with the foundation for many years.
Hearnden serves on the Board of the WDH Foundation and Foxton acted as chair of the Our Hospital, Our Future campaign from 2015 to 2016.
Foxton said after all the hard work that was put into funding the redevelopment of the hospital it is “important to make sure that the newly renovated spaces are furnished with equally new and relevant medical equipment”.
