Hanover woman celebrates Lotto win

A Hanover turkey plant worker has won a 100,000 Lotto 6/49 Super Draw.

Tracey Lerch won with a ticket from February 16 that she purchased at Hanover Foodland.

Tracey went to the retailer to play her regular numbers and was overjoyed when the cashier checked her winning ticket.

“I started balling – I was so overwhelmed. I’m still trying to process it,” she laughed.

The 47-year-old general labourer at a turkey plant plans on taking a trip somewhere warm and paying bills.

"This is my first big win – I mainly play LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTARIO and sometimes LOTTO MAX," shared Tracey, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I play the same numbers for all games!”
