Port Elgin Man wins $250K

A Port Elgin resident is celebrating at $250,000 top prize on an Instant Sonic Multiplier ticket.

The 76-year-old retired nuclear Ooperator plans on sharing with family and then saving the rest.

"This is my first big win. I enjoy playing the $10 INSTANT games,” shared  Maximino Hernandez , "There are no big changes in store for me – I’ve been retired for 18 years. But this win will really help my family a lot!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Ralph’s Port Elgin on Goderich Street in Port Elgin.

After scratching his ticket, Maximino went to the retailer and discovered his win. “

I had a big smile but didn’t tell anyone except the family!” he laughed.
