One person was in a home at the time of a fire in Listowel Thursday morning and was able to escape.
Fire crews were called to a home on Main Street West, between Livingstone Avenue South and Victoria Avenue North just before 11 a.m.
The fire originated in the upstairs of the white home but how it started has not been determined.
Police and paramedics were also called to the scene.
The road was reopened at 2 p.m. Thursday.
