Police recover $120,000 worth of stolen property

West Grey police made some significant gains in a two-month long theft investigation.

Numerous vehicle and property thefts were investigated over the last two months, and police recovered approximately $120,000 worth of stolen vehicles and goods. Police have successfully recovered four motor vehicles, three trailers, one ATV and one stolen firearm.

Police found the stolen vehicles and property throughout the region. As a result, 11 people have been charged with 30 different criminal offences.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
