Ontario Arts grant supports Stratford Summer Music

Stratford Summer Music is receiving $46,000. from the Ontario Arts Council.

MPP Randy Pettapiece said arts play a major role in the culture and economy of Perth Wellington.

“The arts played a major role in the history and economic development of Perth-Wellington,” said Pettapiece. “Our government understands how valuable culture is to the lives and communities of Ontarians. This funding will ensure Stratford Summer Music continues to have a positive impact on our community and draw visitors to our riding.”

Ontario is investing $2.2 million in the latest round of operating grants to 50 theatre and music organizations.

The culture sector contributes over $25 billion to Ontario’s economy and supports almost 270,000 jobs across the province.
