AEDs presented to Knolcrest Lodge in Milverton

Three automated external defibrillators (AED) will be donated to Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton Wednesday.

They are being donated through the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund and dedicated in the name of fallen law enforcement, fire service, EMS and military members who died in the line of duty.

The three AEDs will be presented in the memories of OPP Constable James Hamilton and Justice of the Peace Carl Rocher, who were both shot on a farm near Listowel in 1967 while investigating a domestic assault. An AED will also be presented in honour of Master Cpl. Anthony Klumpenhouwer who fell to his death from a communications tower in Afghanistan. He was conducting surveillance in Kandahar City.

The dedication will be at 1 p.m. in partnership with the Milverton Lions Club.
