UPDATE: Fire Marshal investigates blaze at Hensall Legion

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office was called to assist with an investigation after a fire at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch hall in Hensall.

A small fire at the Legion is being called suspicious. Ontario Fire Marshal investigator Dave Emberlin said the fire was limited to a toilet stall.

Damage is mostly smoke related. Huron County OPP officers and the Hensall Fire Department responded to the scene about 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact the OPP.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
