Grey County seeks input into cycling and trails

Grey County will hold a public meeting on Tuesday to get feedback about developing a Cycling and Trails Master Plan

The plan is meant to provide direction for future investments in cycling and active transportation infrastructure to support commuter cycling, cycle tourism and non-motorized recreational trail use.

People interested in discussing cycling and trails in the county can provide input on issues such as barriers, gaps, links, planning and promotion.

The Public Open House runs from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Grey County Administration Building in Owen Sound.

An interactive online Cycling and Trails Survey is available until mid-April to collect feedback on the strategy.

WSP Canada Group Limited is leading the study and funding was secured from Ontario Municipal Commuter Cycling Program and Regional Tourism Organization 7.
