Exeter drops Game 1 of the West Conf. Final

Carter McLlwain was the lone scorer for the Exeter Hawks who lost Game 1 of the West Conference Final 3-1 to Lakeshore.

The Canadiens scored twice in the first to take a 2-0 lead.

McLlwain put the Hawks on the board early in the third.

Hunter Bailey scored for Lakeshore at 7:03 of the final frame to make it a 3-1 game.

Game 2 is tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the South Huron Rec Centre.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
