Break-and-enter theft being investigated by OPP

Police are investigating a recent break-and-enter theft in Grey County.

On March 2 at 7:38 am, Grey County OPP officers responded to a call of a break-and-enter theft from outbuildings located on Southgate Road 14 between Grey Road 14 and Southgate Sideroad 13 in the Township of Southgate.

Sometime during the previous night two outbuildings that were not securely locked were broken into, and items stolen include chain saws, a sledge hammer, welder, gas cans and a tool bag containing various hand held tools. The thieves also stole approximately 150 litres of gas.

Anyone with information regarding this crime should contact Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
