Bruce County launches BruceGPS, Phase 3

Bruce County residents are being offered a chance to plot a course for the future of the county.

From now until May 1, residents, visitors, and businesses are encouraged to take part in the BruceGPS survey.  It will be used to help chart the next 20 years of growth and development plans in the county.

Feedback on the proposed Vision Statement and Guiding Principles can be offered by completing the online survey at BruceGPS.ca.

You can also do it in person at any Bruce County Public Library Branch or the three Bruce County office hubs in Walkerton, Port Elgin and Wiarton. County residents can also do it by phone, at 888-881-2401.

All survey participants will be entered in a draw for a Bruce County Prize Package valued at $500.

"In 2018, more than 1500 individuals told us their priorities for the future of Bruce County," said Kara Van Myall, director of planning & development. "We’ve compiled all of that feedback and now we want to go back to the community, to fact check what we’ve heard."
