Police set up containment in Ripley in relation to vehicle theft

South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police officers along with officers from the West Region Emergency Response Team and West Region Canine Unit are on the scene of an incident in Ripley.

As a result of a police investigation related to the theft of a motor vehicle, officers set up containment around the Ripley Area.

At this time there is no direct threat to the Ripley-Huron Community School nor are there any threats to public safety.

There are currently no road closures as a result of this investigation.
