Large police investigation wraps up in Mildmay

Officers have concluded an investigation that brought a large police presence to the Mildmay area this afternoon

Members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police along with members of the Grey County OPP, Huron County OPP, the Grey Bruce Street Crime Unit, and West Region Criminal Investigations Unit responded to an incident on Bruce Road 6, in Carrick-Township.

Police say there are no risks to public safety.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
