Drug bust Wednesday in Huron-Kinloss

Two people face a number of charges after drugs and related paraphernalia were found by police at a Huron-Kinloss property.

Wednesday's search was at a property on Bruce Road 1 and involved multiple units including OPP, Street Crime Units from Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth, and the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team members.

Various amounts of cocaine, hydromorphone pills and methamphetamine were confiscated, along with scales, packaging material and other drug paraphernalia.

The combined value of the seized controlled substances is approximately $5,000.

Police did not release the names of the two people charged.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
