Huron Cultural Awards presented Friday night

Huron County will celebrate its tenth annual Cultural Awards night this Friday at the Goderich Legion.

Cultural Development Officer Rick Sickenger says  "This year, because we're recognizing the tenth year, we decided to do a top ten Arts, Culture and Heritage list, so a top ten list, voted on by the public from our list of 46 previous Cultural Award winners."

Sickenger says from the first day to the last day of on-line voting, the people, organizations and businesses in the top ten never changed.   "They changed positions a bit over the few weeks of on-line voting, but the top ten itself did not change."

The Cultural Awards Anniversary starts a 6:00 p.m Friday at the Goderich Legion.

More information about the event can be found on the creativehuron.ca web site.
