The newly renovated Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame opens this weekend

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St. Mary's will open its doors to the public this weekend to an expanded and renovated museum.

A new 2,500-square foot addition is has been completed, boasting a wide range of new amenities, including a visitor lounge and a library that will house the Hall's historic documents while serving as the new home for the Centre of Canadian Baseball Research.

The festivities officially get underway tonight (Thursday), with Hall of Fame board chair Adam Stephens unveiling plans for this year's induction ceremony, with a special 'first pitch' delivered by Ferguson Jenkins to officially open the new Museum.

Fans can check out the new renovation themselves starting on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. The museum will be open six days a week from April 27th to September 2nd.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
