Bruce-Grey school boards' planning and partnerships meeting

The two school boards that serve Grey and Bruce counties are holding a rare joint meeting next week.

The Bluewater District School Board and Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board are inviting community organizations, and upper and lower-tier municipalities to attend the Community Planning and Partnerships meeting. It's also open to any members of the public who wish to observe.

It's set for Tuesday, May 14 at the Bluewater Board's Education Centre in Chesley beginning at 6 p.m.

The Ministry of Education encourages school boards and potential community partners to share planning information regularly, which may lead to opportunities to share school facilities in the future.

This includes new builds or renovations, and discussion about the use of unoccupied school space and school properties that may be considered for future disposition.

This is the second joint Community Planning and Partnerships meeting that the two boards have held.
