A marked cruiser was involved in a collision in Meaford just before 7 p.m. Thursday night.
The OPP said an officer was driving the Chevrolet Tahoe east on Sykes Street South when a Toyota pulled out to make a left onto Sykes.
Police said the Toyota struck the rear bumper of the cruiser which had the right of way. There were no injuries and minor damage to both vehicles.
The driver of the Toyota, an 86-year old man from The Blue Mountains, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for failing to yield to traffic.
