To the end of April, 66 building permits worth almost $16-million were issued. That compares to the same period last year, when 45 permits worth $9-million were issued.
The total of $16-million so far this year compares to the ten-year average of just $7-million.
Minto council was told that the outlook for the rest of the year remains strong.
