Police arrest male suspect following residential break-and-enter

Hanover police laid charges after a residential break-and-enter.

On Tuesday at 3 a.m., officers responded to a break and enter in progress at a residential apartment complex located in the 100 block of 11th Avenue in the Town of Hanover. Police completed a patrol of the building and located a lone male suspect hiding in one of the apartment units. The same male was already being investigated for previous break-and-enters in March and April of this year.

Hanover police arrested the 28-year-old Hanover man, and charged him with three counts of break and enter with intent, and one count of breach of probation. The man was held for a bail hearing to answer to the charges.

This investigation is ongoing and Hanover police encourage anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
