Big expansion for Paisley company

A Paisley company is about to undergo a major expansion.

Abraflex Limited makes protective suits for Bruce Power as well as decontamination and material handling equipment.

At an event attended by company officials, local politicians and business people it was announced Abraflex will double the size of its current 10 thousand square foot facility.

Owner Desiree Norwegian says the expansion will provide economic opportunities for Paisley and the area.

"This is very great news.  We love the town of Paisley, we love Paisley and we are here for the long term," said Norwegian.

Norwegian says their workforce will increase from it's current 21 employees.  It hasn't been determined just how many more that will be.

Abraflex is an Aboriginal owned company.
