'Cakewalk' opens Friday in Blyth Festival

The next play opening at the Blyth Festival is a comedy called "Cakewalk".

Artistic Director Gil Garratt said it's about a small town celebrating Canada Day, and holding a cake-baking contest.

The play focuses on the antics of several ruthless bakers in the contest.

The play opens Friday night, and there will be a Cakewalk parade through Blyth, prior to the opening.
