Assault investigation after fight in Grand Bend

OPP officers are investigating an assault that occurred on Main Street Grand Bend over the Canada Day Weekend.

OPP officers were called to investigate a physical altercation On June 29 at about 10:45 p.m. On person attended a local hospital for treatment.

The OPP are seeking to speak to persons that may have witnessed or those who have knowledge of an altercation that occurred between several males on Main Street, Grand Bend during the late evening hours.

The Lambton County OPP is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any knowledge of this incident they are asked to call the Lambton County detachment at 519-882-1011 or 1-888-310-1122. Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
