Perth District Health Unit looking for dog wanted in biting incident in Stratford

Perth District Health Unit is looking for a dog bit a person late last week.

In a release, officials say the incident happened at the corner of Downie Street and George Street East in Stratford around noon on Thursday, July 4th. The dog in question was one of two dalmatians being walked by a woman.

The health unit is trying to determine if the dog is up-to-date on its rabies shots so the person bitten can avoid rabies post-exposure treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Perth District Health Unit.
