The plane crashed into a ditch along Grey Road 13, north of Eugenia.
Grey Bruce OPP said the pilot, who was alone, was treated for minor injuries by Grey County paramedics. The Grey Highlands fire department assisted at the scene.
Transport Canada and the Transportation Safety Board have been contacted.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
