RIDE check in West Grey nets van full of pot

Even though pot is legal in Canada, West Grey Police are reminding everyone that there are limits to how much you are allowed to transport.

Police stopped a van at a RIDE check on Highway 6 at Grey County Road 12 Sunday and found close to 100 cannabis plants in the back.

A 40-year-old Newmarket man is charged with being in possession of marijuana for the purpose of distributing.      He is due in court August 14th.
