Provincial funding for Huron-Bruce road improvements

The Province is investing more than $2.3 million in several road improvement projects in Huron and Bruce counties.

Three projects have been approved under the Connecting Links program, including the resurfacing of Victoria Street Highway 4 in Central Huron;    the resurfacing of Goderich Street Highway 8 in Huron East;     and the extension of the Railway Street culvert in Saugeen Shores.

The Connecting Link funding covers up to 90 per cent of eligible project costs, to a maximum of $3 million.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
