West Grey police launch new free bicycle registry for residents

The West Grey Police Service is hoping to curb bicycle thefts with a new online bike registry.

The free registry can be found on the West Grey Police Service website, and after filling out a quick form, all of your bicycle information will be registered and stored at the police station.

Police are hoping this will reduce bike thefts, and also make it easier to return stolen bikes to their rightful owners.

West Grey police are reminding bike owners to lock their bikes up anytime they are unattended and recommend using a U-lock because it locks up both the frame and the front wheel.
