Perth County OPP make arrest after stolen pick up found burnt out

Perth County OPP officers have tracked down a suspect in a stolen pickup truck case.

The truck was taken on June 2t from a rural residence on Line 29 near road 110 in Perth East.

The stolen vehicle was found burnt out on a rural property on the 23rd.

Police have now arrested a 23-year-old Stratford man who faces charges of theft. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on September 9, 2019, to answer the charge.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
