Owen Sound pedestrian pinned between vehicles

A rear-end collision in Owen Sound this morning pinned a man who was unloading parcels from a parked vehicle.

The Police Service were called about 10:30 this morning to the 300 block of 8th Street East.

Police determined that a westbound vehicle, driven by an 86-year-old Owen Sound man, ran into the rear of the parked vehicle pinning a 64-year-old Owen Sound man between two vehicles.

The man was transported to Grey Bruce Regional Health Services in serious condition.

The 300 block of 8th Street East was closed between 3rd and 4th Avenue East for a police collision reconstructionist and the police identification unit to conduct an investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
