Two people in hospital after crash west of Mitchell

Two people had to be taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash west of Mitchell.

A sedan travelling south on Perth Rd. 180 went off the road near the community of Staffa just before 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon.

The male driver had to be airlifted to a London hospital while the female passenger was taken to a local hospital.

Police have not released any other details at this time.

Perth Rd. 180 between Lines 24 and 26 was closed until just before 6 o'clock Sunday evening.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
