Crash causes road closure and damage to hydro pole

A crash near Milverton caused a road closure Tuesday afternoon.

The OPP confirmed on Twitter that a crash on Perth Line 72 from Road 129 to Road 124 near Milverton has closed that roadway, and hydro crews have been called to repair a struck hydro pole.

The OPP have not released anything further at this time, and have no timetable for the road re-opening as it will depend on the severity of the repairs that hydro crews must complete before the roadway can be deemed safe.
