Municipal auditor approves Minto's finances

Minto has been given a clean bill of health from its municipal auditor.

Ryan Deyell of Ward and Uptigrove said the 2018 audit produced a “clean audit with no issues at all”.

Deyell explained that Minto’s total revenue in 2018 amounted to $1.8 million, compared to its total expenses of just $450,000.

Mayor George Bridge said the municipality knows it's in good financial shape, but it's nice to hear it from an outside observer such as the municipal auditor.
