New child care space approved for local public school

A new child care room has been approved for the Exeter Elementary School.

Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson announced this afternoon in a release that the Province has approved the request from Avon-Maitland District School Board to move ahead with the project. The provincial government has approved a tender of up to $567,000 for the new space, which will accommodate 15 new child care spaces at the school.

The release says this is part of the province's initiative to support students with better learning spaces.
