Childcan cancer walk event coming to Huron County

Childcan is bringing their popular "10,000 Paces for 10,000 Faces" walk to Huron County for the first time.

The walk is to raise awareness and funds to help aid families and children that are dealing with the diagnoses and treatment of childhood cancer. Childcan has been helping families and children with many different financial and emotional supports since 1974.

Funds raised through the walk also go to support research at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, so that families can remain closer to home as they handle all that comes with childhood cancer.

The Huron County event will take place on September 28 at the Rotary Cove pavilion in Goderich.
