Collision under investigation in Perth West

A collision on a West Perth road Sunday evening sent one person to hospital.

Around 7:30 p.m., Perth and Huron County OPP detachments, Perth County EMS and South Huron and West Perth Fire Departments responded to the scene of a collision involving two vehicles.

It happened at the intersection of Perth Road 180/Hern Line and Line 17, south of Staffa in the Municipality of West Perth.

One person was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
