Police investigating weekend break-and-enter

West Grey police are investigating a recent break-and-enter.

Officers responded to a Sideroad 10 residence in Ayton this past Sunday after a resident reported numerous items had been stolen. The victim told police he left the residence early on Saturday, August 17, and when he returned the next day in the afternoon there were pry marks on his door. He then discovered a number of items were stolen, including a Suzuki ATV.

The estimated value of the stolen property is approximately $10,350.

West Grey police continue to investigate this incident, and would like anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
