Ayton residence the target of break-and-enter

West Grey police continue to investigate a weekend break-and-enter near Ayton.

Officers responded to a Sideroad 10 residence Sunday afternoon after a resident returned home and found pry marks on his door.

He then discovered a number of items had been stolen, including a Suzuki King Quad 400CC ATV.

In addition to the ATV, other property taken included a 42-inch TV, various tools and accessories, a generator, a dual-tank air compressor, a flooring nailer and plumbing supplies.

The estimated value of the stolen property is over $10,000.

West Grey police would like anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
