Two-year-old girl falls into a septic tank in West Perth

The fast actions of a father saved a two-year-old girl who had fallen into a septic tank on Saturday.

The girl's father quickly pulled his daughter out of the tank and rinsed her off with a garden hose.

On Saturday around 5:30 p.m., OPP, West Perth detachment and Perth County Paramedics arrived at the trailer park south of Fullarton after the young girl had fallen.

She was taken to a local hospital as a precaution and was unharmed after the incident.

Perth County OPP are reminding residents to make sure that their septic tank lids are always secure.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
