Young child seriously hurt by farm equipment

Police are investigating after a three-year-old was injured on a Chatsworth farm.

The Ontario Provincial Police said on Saturday at around noon at the farm on Sideroad 3, the child was hurt while the owner of the farm was operating an undisclosed piece of farm machinery.

The three-year-old suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

The OPP Grey Bruce Crime Unit is conducting the investigating into the incident.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
