Tires and rims stolen in Exeter

Thieves made off with $18,000 worth of rims and tires from a dealership in Exeter.

The theft happened sometime during the early morning on Wednesday.

Huron County OPP said three pickup trucks were jacked up and used tires were put back on the vehicles to try to hide the theft.

The set of tires are described as General Grabber HTS with a tire size of P275/60R20, General Grabber HTS with a tire size of P275/55R20, and Goodyear Wrangler RSA with a tire size of P275/55R20.

Huron County OPP is asking anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
