Police are reminding drivers to be aware of buses stopped to pick up and drop off students and speed limits in school safety zones. The fine for passing a school bus with its safety lights activated is a minimum of $490 and six demerit points.
There will also be an influx of children and teens walking or biking to school.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
